Professorial Lecture: Decolonising EU Law - Towards a Wiser and Wider European Union
Abstract
A decolonial approach offers an exciting opportunity to highlight and disrupt euro-centrism in EU law in the past, present and future. As well as excavating the life and legacy of coloniality, a decolonial approach to research and teaching in EU law contributes principles and practices to create the foundation for a wider and wiser EU.
The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception.
