The Equality and Diversity Lecture Series was inaugurated in 2018, between the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage (2018) and the anniversary of women entering the legal profession as practising barristers and solicitors (2019). Created as a means of discussing the role of the law in addressing various inequalities, the series hopes to bring to the forefront speakers and themes that are not only current but that promote critical thinking.
