MPhil in Socio-Legal Research
Overview
The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Socio-Legal Research is a one-year research programme which requires students to write a 30,000-word dissertation on a topic falling within the field of Socio-Legal Studies. Students can either take this as a free-standing qualification or progress from the MPhil to the DPhil in Socio-Legal Studies.

About the course
The Centre for Socio-legal Studies is able to accommodate a wide variety of research projects falling within the general field of Socio-Legal Studies. We welcome applications for theoretically informed empirical research, as well as more theoretical socio-legal inquiries.
