From Optional to Obligatory: Why AI’s Statistical Superiority Doesn’t Dictate Tort Law Duties

The Private Law Postgraduate Research Students Discussion Group will be hosting Amelie Berz, a DPhil student at Worcester College, Oxford, who will present her draft paper entitled “From Optional to Obligatory: Why AI’s Statistical Superiority Doesn’t Dictate Tort Law Duties”.

The event will take place on Thursday, 20 June 2024, between 12.30-2.00 pm, in the Law Board Room at the Faculty of Law (St Cross Building). Provision is made for both in person and online attendance. A Microsoft Teams link will be shared before the event for those who wish to join virtually. A sandwich lunch and refreshments will be served for members attending the event in person.
