Matthew Frey: “Waiver of Tort”
The Private Law Postgraduate Research Students Discussion Group will be hosting Matthew Frey, a DPhil student at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, who will present on his ongoing research. Matthew’s work, supervised by Professor Robert Stevens, seeks to untangle the different senses of “election” used in the context of private law remedies.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 4 December 2024, between 12.30-2.00 pm, in the 21 St Giles Seminar Room at St John's College. Provision is made for both in person and online attendance. A Microsoft Teams link will be shared before the event for those who wish to join virtually. A sandwich lunch and refreshments will be served for members attending the event in person.
