BGRF Writing Workshop
The Bonavero Graduate Research Forum is delighted to announce that we will host a half-day writing workshop on 10 June. Participants are invited to present a draft chapter (or article), presumably a work-in-progress, of up to 10,000 words (including footnotes).
Presenters of the selected papers will be paired with a post-doc or faculty member as their discussant, who will comment on their draft. We will also have a keynote session discussing academic writing styles, tips, and best practices, as well as an endnote speaker highlighting the themes emerging from the discussions.
The workshop will run from 14:30 to 18:30 in the Gilly Leventis Meeting Room at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights (Mansfield College), followed by a social from 18:30 to 19:30.
If you would like to present your written work, please email Adrija Ghosh (adrija.ghosh@merton.ox.ac.uk), Geoffrey Yeung (geoffrey.yeung@law.ox.ac.uk) and Gideon Basson (gideon.basson@gtc.ox.ac.uk) with a title and abstract of the article/chapter (no more than 500 words), and a brief bio (including the name of your supervisor, and no more than 150 words) by 28 March. The full drafts will be due on 9 May.
