The Comparative Law Discussion Group meets two or three times at lunchtime during Michaelmas and Hilary terms to hear and discuss a presentation of research carried out by senior members or graduate students of the Faculty, or visiting researchers in the area of comparative private law as very broadly understood.  It is open to all senior members and graduate students of the Law Faculty and is preceded by an informal sandwich lunch.  The group is convened under the auspices of the Institute of European and Comparative Law by Birke Häcker and Simon Whittaker.
