Safe Fieldwork & Overseas Travel: e-learning for supervisors
This training is aimed at those supervising fieldwork and overseas travel.
The course is the first example of the competency-based approach to training being developed through the EveryDaySafe programme, which will define the behaviours, attitudes and skills we all need to perform our roles effectively.
A new interactive training package is now available to support supervisors of staff and students involved in fieldwork and overseas travel across all academic divisions. The core 40-minute course provides practical, interactive learning on the risks of fieldwork and overseas travel, including how to prepare a suitable risk assessment. It is tailored to the University’s travel risk profile and uses practical scenarios based on real researcher experiences.
