Biography

Huang Yanqin is a recognised student at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, Faculty of Law for MT2021 and HT2022. He is a fully funded PhD student in law at the Law School, Renmin University of China and a researcher at Antitrust and Competition Policy Center, National Academy of Development and Strategy, Renmin University of China. He is mainly engaged in the research of competition law and is dedicated to the study of anti-monopoly issues in the context of China's politics, economy, society and culture, involving anti-monopoly law, anti-unfair competition law, intellectual property law and other fields.

He holds a Juris Master Degree in Economic Law from China University of Political Science and Law, and a Master of Law Degree in European and International Law from the University of Hamburg (Germany). He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from China University of Political Science and Law, and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Peking University.

He presided over and participated in many programs, such as Research on the Regulation of Government Procurement Administrative Monopoly, Research on the Rule of Law Guarantee in Emergency Response to Public Health Emergencies, Research on the Revision of Price Law of the People's Republic of ChinaResearch on Anti-Unfair Competition Law from the Perspective of Optimizing Business Environment, Legitimacy Review and Fair Competition Review, and so on. He has also published a number of articles on issues in areas such as competition law and intellectual property law, and put forward his own views.

In addition to systematic training in all law subjects, he also has a complete knowledge structure in the fields of economics and accounting.

As well as theoretical knowledge, he has several practical qualification certificates, for instance, Legal Profession Qualification Certificate, Certified Public Accountant Qualification Certificate, Tax Advisor Qualification Certificate, Futures Investment Analyst Qualification Certificate.
