Vanessa is co-head of the risk and governance practice and a founder partner and head of the sustainability practice. Formerly a commercial litigator, she has been involved in a wide range of contentious  and advisory matters and has a particular focus on the energy and extractives sector.  Recent roles have included crisis management for a consumer products multinational, a global compliance review for an extractives sector client, advising energy and extractive sector companies on compliance with incoming transparency obligations, and developing a human rights governance and compliance framework for a FTSE 100 company.
