Sarah Ailwood

Dr Sarah Ailwood is Associate Professor of Law at the University of Wollongong, Australia and co-Managing Editor of the Australian Feminist Law Journal. Her current research explores law and justice responses to #MeToo with a particular focus on defamation and sexual harassment law reform. She is also part of a research team exploring the politics and practices of listening to women’s voices in law reform addressing violence against women, funded by an Australian Research Council grant in 2025-27. Her research at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies will focus on a comparative analysis of Australian and UK approaches to sexual harassment law reform.
