Rosario Grimà Algora

Note

Rosario Grimà Algora is a DPhil Candidate at the Faculty of Law under the supervision of Prof Shazia Choudhry and Dr Barbara Havelková. Her DPhil research focuses on constitutional and human rights remedies in cases of gender-based violence against women. Rosario is an EU Law stipendiary lecturer  at Wadham College (HT 2025),  a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the course of Feminist Perspectives on the Law (2023 -2025), and has taught Constitutional Law at St Catherine's College. She is a convenor of the Feminist Jurisprudence Discussion Group.  She was the Chair (2024) and Deputy Chair (2023) of the OPBP Committee. Rosario is funded by the Mr and Mrs Kenny Lam’s Graduate Scholarship and the Law Faculty.

 

 

Before coming to Oxford, Rosario worked at UN Women and at the Center for Reproductive Rights. She holds a LLM from Columbia University (2021/2022) and LSE ( 2016/2017), and graduated in Political Science and Law from the Autnomous University of Madrid.
