Biography

Since commencing pupillage in April 2017, Pierre has assisted in appeals and judicial reviews across a wide range of immigration, asylum and nationality law matters, gaining a significant amount of drafting experience in the IAC, High Court and Court of Appeal.  In line with chambers’ practice areas, Pierre has also gained valuable experience during pupillage in general civil matters and criminal trials, in both the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts.

Prior to pupillage Pierre spent over three years working as a Level 3 OISC-accredited immigration adviser at a private firm in London.  During this time he gained experience across the full spectrum of immigration categories and appeared frequently for clients in the Immigration Tribunal in asylum, human rights and EEA appeals.
