Pedro Arcain

Biography

Dr Pedro Arcain is a Research and Policy Associate (Postdoctoral) at the Blavatnik School of Government and a Fellow at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, University of Oxford. He also participates in the Democracy Fellows Program at Harvard's Ash Center and the Victor Nunes Leal Chair at the Supreme Court of Brazil. 

Pedro's work focuses on the intersection of public policy, public law, and politics. More specifically, he focuses on the comparative design of institutions and their effects on governance and public service delivery. At the Blavatnik School of Government, he currently leads projects to deliver evidence-based policy proposals to improve the public sector worldwide.

Pedro teaches courses in Public Law at the University of Oxford and Public Policy and Politics at Stanford University's overseas programme in Oxford.
