Nita Santika
Biography
Nita Santika is an economist and a recognised student at the Centre of Legal-Socio Studies. She is currently working on projects as a doctoral researcher at the Department of Economics, Safety, and Planning, University of Stavanger. Her work assesses the legal implications of international trade sanctions and shocks, as well as developing economic models to investigate the impact of these disruptions on global markets and industries. She received project funds from the Norwegian Research Council.
Nita has a Master's in Economics from the University of Chongqing and a Bachelor of Law from Bandung College of Law. Throughout her academic journey, she has collaborated with various international institutions, including Utrecht University, where she explored International Trade and Governance, and the Word Trade Institute at the University of Bern, where she specialised in advanced trade policy modelling. She is also certified in International Trade and Finance.
She has worked with international and intergovernmental organisations, governments, and the private sector, where she has provided expertise and contributed extensively to trade governance, economic policy, and quantitative analysis across the energy and fisheries sectors.
