Biography

Nikiforos is a DPhil student and tutor in Public International Law. His research focuses on the contours of international judicial authority constituted under compromissory clauses with respect to the interpretation and application of international law.

During his time in Oxford, Nikiforos has served as Graduate Teaching Assistant in Public International Law (2016-17) and as the Co-convenor of the Oxford Public International Law Discussion Group (2016-17).

Nikiforos has studied law in Athens (LL.B. (dist.) and LL.M. in Public Law (dist.)) and in Oxford (MJur and MPhil (dist.)). He previously worked as a lawyer-linguist (trainee) at the European Parliament in Brussels, and he practiced law in Athens. He is a member of the Bar in Athens, Greece.
