Michael Chen

Michael Chen is an MSc student in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He graduated with a BA in Ethnicity, Race, and Migration and Political Science from Yale University and an MSc in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford. His research interests include local integration initiatives, externalization policies, and the intersection of the criminal legal and immigration systems. Michael has worked at various charities, legal aid organizations, and non-profits that support asylum seekers, refugees, and vulnerable migrants. This year, he will be interning for the Detention Landscapes Project.
