Marta Soria Heredia
Biography
Marta is a Law Graduate from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain). After finishing the mandatory subjects of her degree in three years instead of the accustomed four, she has spent her fourth year at the University of Oxford reading for a Diploma in Legal Studies while simultaneously working as a research assistant to Dr. Mimi Zou. Marta has previously interned at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú as a researcher and legal advisor to vulnerable social groups and is currently the Administrator of the Deep Tech Dispute Resolution Lab in Oxford, and Consultant to the NGO G3ict on a project seeking to enhance access to justice for people with disabilities through the use of technology. Her research focuses on legal challenges and regulation of emerging technologies; she has recently been awarded a Distinction for her final bachelor’s thesis on blockchains.
