Mariana Canales

Mariana Canales S. is a DPhil student in the University of Oxford. 

She is being supervised by Professor Richard Ekins KC (Hon). Her Dphil dissertation asks what the connection is between law, the exercise of executive power, and the members of the political community. She is interested in legal and political philosophy and constitutional theory. 

Mariana holds an LL.B from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and an Mphil from St. John's College, Oxford. Before coming to Oxford, she worked as a research fellow in Instituto de Estudios de la Sociedad in Chile and was Lecturer in Law in the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
