Biography
Kelvin Vries is a Dphil in Law candidate at St Peter's College. His thesis explores emerging judicial doctrines on constitutional amendment in Benin, Kenya and the African Court of Human and Peoples Rights.
Kelvin holds a LLM in 'human rights and democratisation in Africa' from the University of Pretoria (distinction) and a LLB from the University of Namibia. He has also attended advanced courses including 'constitution-building in Africa' from the Central European University and 'the judicial enforcement of socio-economic rights' from the University of Pretoria.
