Biography

Kathrin is a third-year DPhil candidate in Law. Her thesis evaluates the impact of property law reforms on married women's economic agency and consequentially arising rights and liabilities (i.e., for debt and tax) after 1882. This project is generously funded by the Selden Society Milsom Studentship. She is jointly supervised by Professors Michael Lobban and Joshua Getzler.

Before beginning her doctoral research, Kathrin completed an LLB at the London School of Economics; an MLitt in Legal and Constitutional Studies at the Institute of Legal and Constitutional Research, University of St Andrews; and the Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) at Oxford. She takes part in the Graduate Residency programme at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights.
