Jonas Atmaz Al-Sibaie

Jonas is the Shaw Foundation Junior Research Fellow in Law at Jesus College. His research encompasses private law generally, and focuses in particular on personal property and commercial law. He is particularly interested in how core personal property rules can inform or explain commercial phenomena, such as the document of title to goods or attornment. 

Jonas teaches Contract Law at Jesus College. Prior to his present appointment, Jonas was a Stipendiary Lecturer at St Hilda's College, teaching Land Law and Trusts. 

Jonas completed a DPhil in Law at Somerville College, Oxford, which focused on delivery as a means of transferring rights to tangible, moveable things. He previously also obtained a Bachelor of Civil Law (dist) and a BA in Jurisprudence (1st Class) from St John's College, Oxford.
