Israr Khan

Israr Khan is a DPhil scholar in Socio-Legal Studies at the Faculty of Law. His research focuses on Investor-State Disputes in China’s Belt and Road Initiative. Israr is supervised by Prof Bettina Lange at the Centre of Socio-Legal Studies, University of Oxford.

Israr is also a member of Regents Park College and an active Committee member at Oxford Union. Prior to coming to Oxford, Israr was called to the Bar of England and Wales. He completed his undergraduate in Scottish and English Law at the University of Aberdeen.
