Hugh Beale

Hugh Beale is a Senior Research Fellow of the Commercial Law Centre at Harris Manchester College.

Hugh Beale has been the Commercial Law and Common Law Commissioner at the Law Commission since 2000. While he has been at the Commission, reports in his area of responsibility have included Limitation of Actions, Unfair Terms in Contracts and Company Security Interests. He is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute of European and Comparative Law. He is also a Professor of Law at the University of Warwick, where he has taught since 1987.
