Geoffrey Yeung

Geoffrey Yeung is an MPhil candidate at Wadham College. He is the 2016-17 Treasurer for Oxford Pro Bono Publico (OPBP). His thesis is on comparative human rights law, particularly on the right to equality, concerning legal gender recognition for transgender people. He came to Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar and completed his BCL with distinction. Before that he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Hong Kong and was an active member of various LGBTQ rights groups in Hong Kong. He is also a Founding Associate Fellow of the Sexualities Research Programme at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
