Francesca Vitarelli

Francesca Vitarelli is a recognised student at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, Faculty of Law for TT2022. She is a last year PhD student on Criminal law at the "Cesare Beccaria Department of Legal Sciences" of the University of Milan "La Statale". Her research project focuses on "the changing role of criminal law in the governance of complex social phenomena".

In June 2019, she graduated with full marks and honors from the University of Pisa (Italy) with a Master's Degree in Law. In December 2020 she obtained a Master's Degree in Legal Sciences with a grade of 100/100 cum laude at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa (Italy). From January 2020 to July 2021 she did an internship at the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Court of Milan.
