Else Marie Knudsen

Else Marie Knudsen is an assistant professor in the Department of Social Work at Trent University, Canada. Her research interests focus on the first-hand experiences of Canadian children of prisoners, and the social policy context of prisoners and their families. Before her doctoral work, Else was a social worker in Toronto for several years, first as a child welfare worker and then as a policy analyst at a criminal justice policy organization. She completed her Phd in Social Policy from the London School of Economics in 2017.
