Biography

Dorina holds a PhD in Criminology and the Sociology of Law and an MA in Human Rights from the Faculty of Law, University of Oslo, Norway. Her research is centered around global inequality regimes, borderscapes, and im/mobility, at the intersections of citizenship status, gender, race, and class. Her approach relies on perspectives from border criminologies and feminist and post-colonial studies.

She has published in international journals such as Sociology, Punishment and Society, and the International Journal of Qualitative Methods.
