Aminata Kalokoh

Aminata completed her MBA from the university of Sunderland. She is a very articulate and affable individual, who likes to advocate for positive change in society especially on  immigration and equality. Based on her lived experience, Aminata is currently working with Francesca Esposito on a project on gender and immigration detention, and she is also a member of her Community Advisory Board. Overall the project aims to examine the racialised, gendered and sexualised forms of violence which affect women in immigration detention. Aminata is also collaborating with a network of international community of psychologists on a project looking at the role of psychologists in the border industrial complex.
