New work in Nature Climate Change by Faculty members

Kristin van Zwieten and Thom Wetzer are co-authors of an article published yesterday in Nature Climate Change on how attribution science can be better used to satisfy legal tests of causation in climate-related litigation.

The project was conducted under the auspices of the Oxford Sustainable Law Programme, founded by Thom Wetzer. The project was led by Rupert Stuart-Smith, an attribution scientist in the Oxford Martin School.

The University issued a press release, which is available here. The paper was covered in the Guardian and BBC World News, as well as many other media outlets, overnight. A summary was also published in Carbon Brief. The full paper is freely available here.
