James Goudkamp elected as an Academic Bencher of the Honorable Society of the Inner Temple

James Goudkamp, Professor of the Law of Obligations, has been appointed as an Academic Bencher of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple. 

A bencher or Master of the Bench is a senior member of an Inn of Court in England and Wales and Ireland. Benchers hold office for life once elected.

The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple is one of the four barrister Inns of Court of England and Wales. The Inns of Court hold the exclusive right to call candidates to practice at the Bar of England and Wales. James maintains chambers in London at 7 King's Bench Walk.
