Oxford Wins Oxford French Law Moot 2019

The 2019 Edition of the Moot was held on 11 March. Sixteen teams representing the Universities of Birmingham, Boston College, Bristol, Cairo, Cologne, Essex, Florence, Galatasaray, Humboldt, King's College London, Madrid/Cornell, Oxford, Queen Mary London, Trinity College Dublin, University College London and Warwick debated the Problem which had been set by M. Jean-Guy Huglo and M. Philippe Flores of the Cour de cassation.
 
The final of the Moot was won by Lukas Gwozdz and George Twinn representing Oxford University. The team was mentored by Olga Giakouminaki and Liane Huttner. The runners-up were Alice Dunglas and Margaretha Weigel representing King's College London and mentored by Dr Eva Steiner.
