Programme: DPhil

It is such a joy to research at the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford for my DPhil. In particular, I have joined Oxford’s Sustainable Law Programme as a Dean’s Scholar. The programme is a cooperation of the Smith School for Enterprise and the Environment and the Faculty of Law. It conducts interdisciplinary research on how the law can realise an intergenerationally just future – I could not be happier to become part of this mission.   

My DPhil research reflects my academic background in both law and energy technology and it centres the topic I am most passionate about: The Net Zero Transition. In particular, I research the regulation of Carbon Dioxide Removal Technologies. In doing so, I aim to contribute to developing rigorous climate legislation.
