James Edelman

Professor of the Law of Obligations

Biography

James Edelman is a Fellow at Keble College and lecturer and Professor of the Law of Obligations in the Faculty of Law. His research and teaching interests are in the areas of unjust enrichment, trusts, commercial law, contract, torts, legal history and Roman law. He teaches for exchange programmes as an Adjunct Professor at Ohio State and Georgia Law Schools and is Conjoint Professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales. He practises as a barrister in England and Australia, with chambers at One Essex Court.
