International Rounds 2025

The 2025 International Rounds of the 18th Annual Price Media Law Moot Court Competition will take place in Oxford, England between 21 April – 25 April 2025. 

Timeline

Online Re-registration deadline: Mon 03 March 2025

Payment of registration fee: Mon 31 March 2025

Visa confirmed by*: Mon 7 April 2025

*Please note that teams may be disqualified if they do not provide confirmation that they have obtained visas by Monday 7  April 2025.

Re-registration

Re-registration will open from December 2024.

Please note that only the teams that have qualified for the Final Rounds in Oxford through the Regional Rounds, can re-register for the International Rounds, they should do so on the following link.

Observers

Please note that according to the Rules of the Competition the participation of Observers or any other team affiliate must be communicated to, and approved by, the administrative team prior to the start of the Competition.  Teams failing to comply with this rule may be sanctioned.

Participation Fees

International Rounds registration fees are set on a per person basis not per team. 

The participation fee is applicable to all team members including the coach. This fee is due by Monday 31st March 2025. If you have qualified for the International Round of this year’s competition and wish to pay your registration fees please visit our online payment shop here.

We are pleased to be able to offer­­ several categories of fees per person for teams competing in International Rounds this year:

  • 150 GBP per person – for countries listed as Low Income Countries according to World Bank classifications, list of countries is available here
  • 250 GBP per person - for countries listed as Middle Income Countries according to World Bank classifications, list of countries is available here
  • 350 GBP  per person – for all other counties not listed above

*Please note: the fee does not cover any accommodation or travel costs. Teams are responsible for organising and paying for this themselves. Please find information about accommodation options in Oxford below.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OXFORD COLLEGES HAVE STRICT NO SMOKING / VAPING ON SITE POLICIES – THIS INCLUDES THE GROUNDS OF THE COLLEGES.  IF YOU WISH TO SMOKE YOU MUST GO OUTSIDE THE GATES OF THE COLLEGES TO DO SO

Getting to Oxford 

From London Airports

London Heathrow and Gatwick airports are linked to Oxford by The Airline coach service, which operates a direct frequent service 24 hours a day (tel: +44 (0)1865 785400). Visit website here.  It is also possible to travel by train from Heathrow to Oxford via London, and from Gatwick to Oxford via Reading.

London Stansted airport is linked to Oxford by the National Express 757 coach service, running every two hours (tel: +44 (0)8705 747777). Visit the website here. 

From London by bus

Frequent 24-hour direct services connect Oxford with London (peak times every 10-20 minutes).

The X90 service includes Victoria Coach Station, Grosvenor Gardens, Marble Arch, Baker Street/Gloucester Place and Hillingdon (tel: +44 (0)1865 785410).

The Oxford Tube service includes Grosvenor Gardens, Marble Arch, Notting Hill Gate, Shepherd's Bush, and Hillingdon (tel: +44 (0)1865 772250).

For information on coaches to other major cities and airports contact National Express (tel: +44 (0)8717 818178). Coaches arrive at Gloucester Green Coach Station in the city centre, which is a short walk or taxi ride from all the venues listed.

From London by Train

Direct services operate between Oxford and London Paddington and Oxford and London Marylebone (approximately every 30 minutes), and between Oxford and Birmingham New Street. Other services operate from the north via Birmingham New Street; from the South via Reading; and from the west via Didcot or Reading.
