Executive Education Operations Officer

Grade 6: £32,332 - £38,205 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity at the Faculty of Law with the new role of an Executive Education Operations Officer who will be reporting to the Director of Executive Education. The successful candidate will help implement plans for the establishment of a sustainable, research-led Executive Education Programme, working with a large administrative team.

The postholder will liaise with external clients, directors, tutors, and colleagues across the Faculty of Law on the content, structure and delivery of the EE courses, assist the Director with the drawing up of contracts for all custom courses and for third party suppliers, including accommodation, catering, AV support, etc, monitor income and expenditure against agreed budgets, identify trends, and seek approval for variations or new expenditure, maintain accurate records of course delivery costs to assist in the creation, tracking, reporting and forecasting of programme budgets and prepare and maintain the content of promotional and other publicity material (e.g. brochures, promotional emails, web pages) and in providing general administrative support for course promotion.

The successful candidate will have experience associated with the development and planning of Executive Education programmes, strong organisational skills to undertake detailed planning of complex courses and events, strong marketing awareness and be able to exercise authority appropriately, be diplomatic and able to negotiate contracts and a high level of IT literacy and able to use a combination of Microsoft and other packages, including MS Office, and new customised administrative database and finance systems. Experience in website content management, email software and CRM platforms would be desirable.

The work is offered on a full-time basis and fixed term for 2 years.
