ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Aslıhan Erbaşı Çuhadar is a PhD candidate at Istanbul University, Institute of Social Sciences. She is also a research assistant at Okan University Faculty of Law. Aslıhan holds an LL.B. from Marmara University, an LL.M. from Istanbul University and earned an MA. in International Relations from Bahcesehir University. Her doctoral research addresses the evolution of Turkish Forced Migration Law and aims to understand the important points influencing the Turkish migration policy making process. Besides the Turkish Asylum Law, Aslıhan’s areas of interest cover international refugee law, public international law and international humanitarian law.
