To BCL/MJur/MLF/ MSt and MPhil students in Law - Session for all Master law students seeking to progress on to MPhil or DPhil in Law with a focus on Public International Law.

Tuesday 22nd November from 5.15 – 6.00pm, there will be a short session in the Cube for those interested in proceeding to the MPhil or DPhil after completion of the BCL/MJur/MLF or MPhil/ MSt students going on to DPhil.  This session is tailored for those of you contemplating research in the public international law field, and amongst other things provides the opportunity to ‘road test’ your ideas before completing your formal application.

Following brief introductory words by Catherine Redgwell, Chichele Professor of Public International Law, Antonios Tzanakopoulos, Associate Professor of Public International Law and Miles Jackson, Departmental Lecturer in International Law, there will be a general Q & A followed by the opportunity to speak to one of us individually about your research idea. Geraldine Malloy, Graduate Studies Officer, and Paul Burns, Academic Administrator, will also be in attendance to address any practical questions you may have.

All Master law students are welcome to attend. If you are interested in applying for the MPhil or DPhil  in public international law and can’t make it along on the 22nd November then you may of course contact any member of the PIL team individually.
