Join Oxford Sustainable Finance Students’ Society on the 11th May at 6 pm for Public Policy Case Study “Developing a Taxonomy for Green Finance”. We will be discussing the practicalities of developing a taxonomy, including its content, parties involved and most problematic issues faced by the experts. Sean Kidney is CEO of the Climate Bonds Initiative. Sean works with the Chinese central bank and on market development programs in Brazil, Mexico, ASEAN and Africa. He is a member of the European Commission's Platform on Sustainable Finance, and of green finance committees in China, India, Mexico and Kazakhstan. Sean is also a Professor in Practice at SOAS University of London. Andreas Hoepner, Professor of Operational Risk, Banking & Finance at Smurfit Graduate Business School of University College Dublin and a member of EU's Platform for Sustainable Finance (2020-2022).
