The Faculty of Law, in partnership with the Alumni Office, is proud to celebrate and champion its female graduates working in legal careers with a talk by Hilary Heilbron, who will discuss the life and work of Rose Heilbron QC (later Dame Rose Heilbron), an English barrister who became a world-famous legal pioneer of the 1950s and 1960s.

This talk will be preceded by short presentations from The Dean of the Faculty of law, Professor Timothy Endicott, and Professor of Taxation Law, Judith Freedman, who will speak about the Faculty’s various diversity initiatives? as well as the formation of Oxford Women in Law (OWL): a network for female graduates of the University working in the law to discuss career issues, to share experiences and to enhance their relationship with each other and the Oxford Faculty of Law.?
