Join us on Monday, the 17th of May, at 5:30 pm BST for a discussion on “Pricing and Management of Physical Climate Risk in Financial Transactions”. This discussion will be spearheaded by our Resource person Carlos Sanchez (Willis Towers Watson) and promises to demystify to the audience, the concept of climate risk pricing and related issues arising out of financial transactions affected by climate risks.
Carlos is a Director of Climate Resilience Investment at Willis Towers Watson. He focuses on investment solutions promotions aimed at fostering more efficient pricing of physical climate risks within investment decision-making processes.
He is also the Vice-Chair of the CFA UK’s Panel in charge of advancing the upcoming Climate and Investing Certification and a member of the State of California’s Climate-Related Risk Disclosure Advisory Group.
Carlos is an Executive Director for Coalition for Climate Resilience Investment (CCRI), a flagship COP26 initiative led by the private sector with a growing membership of 60+ institutions committed to developing and testing solutions for resilient investment decision-making.
Carlos has worked with the Inter-American Development Bank Group and Economic Office of the Spanish Embassy in Angola as a Foreign Direct Investment Advisor and Business Development Manager for a project finance advisory firm.
