On Tuesday, June 16th, 2020, Professor Mari Mikkoa will present a feminist text and will then lead an open discussion. The discussion will be held at St. Hilda's College (room to be confirmed) from 12:00 until 1:30 p.m. 

About the Speaker

Professor Mari Mikkola works mainly on feminist philosophy and, in particular, on feminist metaphysics and feminist engagements with pornography. Professor Mikkola's monograph, The Wrong of Injustice: Dehumanization and its Role in Feminist Philosophy (OUP, 2016), deals with feminist philosophy and social injustice. She has also written Pornography: A Philosophical Introduction (OUP, 2019) which engages with philosophical debates concerning pornography.
