The Law Commission is the statutory independent body created to keep the law of England and Wales under review and to recommend reform where it is needed. Their research assistant recruitment campaign for 2021 has officially opened, aimed at finalists or post-graduate students.

Working as part of an expert team, successful applicants have the opportunity to master complex areas of law and help shape UK law reform, thinking deeply and working creatively in a challenging and supportive environment. As a research assistant you will develop a range of skills and gain professional experience that is hard to obtain anywhere else. Chambers, solicitors' firms and universities regard time spent at the Law Commission extremely highly.

Please view http://www.lawcom.gov.uk/working-for-the-law-commission/ for full details of the role, eligibility criteria and details on how to apply.
