Do lawyers need to learn to code? Should firms start including technology competencies in role profiling and assessment? What skills can non-STEM candidates learn or focus on to bridge the gap? This talk will guide you through the key training resources available and transferrable skills to consider upon entering the legaltech industry. Speaker profile: Nikita Aggarwal is a Research and Teaching Fellow at the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford. Prior to entering academia, Nikita was an attorney in the legal department of the International Monetary Fund, where she advised on financial sector law reform in the Euro area and worked extensively on initiatives to reform the legal and policy frameworks for sovereign debt restructuring. She previously practiced as an associate with Clifford Chance LLP, where she specialized in EU financial regulation and sovereign debt restructuring.
