This year we are delighted that the Bar Council's 19th Annual Law Reform Lecture will be given by The Rt. Hon. Lord Carnwath of Notting Hill and Ms Inger Andersen, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the UN Environment Programme. This year’s lecture will tackle the role of law reform in the context of climate change, bringing international and UK perspectives to different legislative initiatives. The event will also include an announcement of the 2021 Law Reform Essay Competition winners and questions from the audience. The event is being held online on 30th November starting at 6pm.
