How can mediation contribute to the landscape of investor-state dispute resolution? What are latest international policy initiatives and trends in investor-state mediation, including by ICSID and UNCITRAL? How can states and investors best use mediation to resolve their investment disputes in practice?

These questions will be explored in a two-hour public online event featuring leading policymakers and practitioners in investor-state mediation, organised by Andreas Hacke and supported by the Commercial Law Centre at Harris Manchester College.

Speakers:

-       Prof. Nadja Alexander (SIDRA)

-       Wolf von Kumberg

-       Judith Knieper (UNCITRAL)

-       Frauke Nitschke (ICSID)

The speakers will be introduced by Horst Eidenmueller. The discussion will be moderated by Andreas Hacke.

The event will be recorded and the proceedings made publicly available after the event. You must register to attend this event, and numbers are limited. Register here.
