In France, some measures have recently been taken to make Paris a more attractive dispute resolution hub for businesses involved in international litigation. In 2018, France harmonised the procedure before the International Chamber of the Paris Commercial Court and created the International Chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal. This talk will focus in particular on: the aims of these measures, the relevant legal provisions, the jurisdiction of the chambers, the procedure before them, their advantages when compared with other domestic courts or arbitration, and the cases that have been heard so far.

A sandwich lunch will be available from 12.30. The meeting will begin at 1pm.
