The barristers’ profession is highly competitive to get into and requires a specific set of skills. The qualification process has changed this year to make the training more affordable and accessible, but the new changes and terminology can be difficult navigate for those new to this sector. This panel discussion aims to demystify the profession, explain the new qualification landscape and new terminology (the postgraduate course is no longer called the BPTC, for instance). We encourage anyone considering a career as a barrister whether you’re from a law or non-law degree background to attend. We are delighted to welcome the Inns of Court College of Advocacy and the University of Law to explain how training has changed.
