Graduate talk: Securing a Training Contract at different stages of academic life
Graduate talk: Securing a Training Contract at different stages of academic life Tuesday Week 3 (10 May), 17:00 GMT Register to attend here!
Join us on this informative talk with two solicitors, Medha Vikram (Latham & Watkins) and Katie Sa (Freshfields), former Oxford students who completed postgraduate studies before starting their legal careers. The event will include a presentation on their personal trajectories to get to their careers in commercial law followed by a Q&A session.
Medha Vikram is an associate in the Finance Department of the London office of Latham & Watkins. Prior to joining Latham, she completed a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) in Oxford and a training contact at HSF. Katie Sa is an IP, Tech and Data associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Katie completed a BA Jurisprudence at Oxford (2014-2017) and a MSc Computer Science at Imperial College (2018-2019).
This talk will be particularly insightful for undergraduate students thinking of pursuing further studies before securing a training contract and current postgraduate students considering a career in commercial law. At the end of the event, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about their experience at the firms.
This will be a virtual event, with the Zoom details emailed to you after registration.
