As part of that, many colleagues from across our network are working on projects that are designed to help improve LGBT rights around the world. We will focus on our pro bono work for the Human Dignity Trust, a charity which challenges the criminalisation of consensual homosexuality; our submission to the UK’s All Party Parliamentary Group on global LGBT rights; and on our work in Japan on marriage equality. • Questions to the panel Ask questions to the Freshfields panel about being LGBT in the City, what it’s like working at an international law firm more generally, and about the process for applying for a workshop, vacation scheme or training contract. • Networking and drinks Applying for this event We welcome law and non-law undergraduate students interested in a career in law, and who identify as LGBT or who are interested in Freshfields’ engagement in this area.
